Engineered Systems is Hiring a Maintenance Technician Near Hickory, NC
$20 - $26/hr depending on experience

The Crane Maintenance Technician will execute maintenance tasks, which require an in-depth technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment. The technician will troubleshoot and repair crane and hoist equipment, perform inspections on equipment, and provide a repair analysis for the customer.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair overhead cranes, crane controls, hoists and drives.
- Inspect cranes and hoists using proper lift equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
- Take initiative and participate actively in problem analysis, root cause identification and suitable solutions.
- Complete related documentation in a timely fashion.
- Provide training for less experienced technicians.
- Communicate with manager and/or customer regarding recommendations and findings.
Job Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years experience performing industrial maintenance.
- Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to pass a DOT certification.
- Ability to work on-call rotation and work overtime.
- Prior crane experience a big plus.
